While there aren’t many major attractions located in Boiling Springs, there are some interesting things to do. Throughout the year, there are several festivals and events held in Boiling Springs, including the Fall Festival, Christmas Parade, and Crossroads Festival. The Town of Boiling Springs is an owner of the Broad River Greenway Property, which provides 1,500-acres of park space, including trails, a playground, and picnic shelters. Boiling Springs is also home to many delicious restaurants like Italian Garden, Snack Shop Family Restaurant, and El Acapulco.
Weather conditions in Boiling Springs vary with the season. Summers here are hot and humid, and many days experience high temperatures into the 90s. Central air conditioning or a heat pump is crucial to stay safe during this potentially dangerous time. For Boiling Springs residents with central air conditioning, periodic maintenance is required to ensure the system works at optimal efficiency. When cared for properly, central air conditioners reduce indoor noise levels and cool more efficiently than window units.
Conditions vary dramatically during the winter when temperatures drop to the 40s and 50s. Freezing temperatures are common overnight, and while snowfall totals are low throughout the season, it is important to keep indoor conditions safe. A heat pump or gas/electric furnace is a great investment and will consistently warm an entire home.
